Don Kasle, a retired bank CEO, is Managing Partner of Alldas Partners, a financial services consulting company. He
has over 40 years experience in executive management and service on boards of directors, as well as commercial banking
and capital formation.
Mr. Kasle is also an active investor in and a coach for start-up companies through his membership in the Tech Coast Angels
where he also serves on the Board of Governors as well as a member of the executive committee for the Orange County Network.
During his career, Mr. Kasle has served on over 30 Boards of Directors in the public, private and not-for profit sectors,
including 7 bank boards. Most recently he was Lead Director and Chairman of the Executive Committee a de novo bank in
downtown Los Angeles. In addition he previously was on the board of a $500 million bank in West Los Angeles where he
served as Chairman of the Executive Committee. In addition he is on the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Governance
Committee for the Forum for Corporate Directors of Orange County. He is a past member of the Board of the Miami University
Foundation (Oxford, Ohio). Mr. Kasle previously served as a founding director of Commercial Capital Bancorp & Commercial
Capital Bank in Irvine, CA, where he was also a member of the Audit and Compensation Committees. He was previously also
on the board of ColumbusNewport (an investment banking and consulting firm) . He is a member of the Orange County Financial
Society.
Mr. Kasle co-founded the merchant-banking firm, Newport Capital Partners, the predecessor company to ColumbusNewport. He
also has experience as an entrepreneur, having founded a start-up company in the security surveillance industry. Formerly,
Mr. Kasle was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Western Financial Bank, a $3.5 billion institution located in
Irvine, California. Prior to that, he was Chairman and CEO of Bank One, Dayton (Ohio), a $3.5 billion affiliate of Banc
One Corporation. During Mr. Kasle's nine year tenure, Bank One, Dayton achieved record earnings every year and was named
the top large bank affiliate within Banc One Corporation five years in a row.
Loan active in the field of Education, Mr. Kasle was the founding Chairman of the Institute of Certified Bankers of the
American Bankers Association and past Chairman of the Board of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking. In 1993, Stonier
honored him with its Distinguished Alumni Award. He was also a former board member of America's Community Bankers and
previously taught Banking/Commercial Lending at 10 national banking schools including Rutgers University, Southern
Methodist University, University of Wisconsin, University of Oklahoma, and Louisiana State University. He has lectured
at a number of business schools including Miami University (Ohio), Chapman University (Orange, CA), University of
California at Irvine, and the University of Southern California.
Some of his additional board positions have included the Miami University (Ohio) Board of Trustees, Chairman of the Miami
University Richard T. Farmer School of Business Administration Advisory Council, United Way, Good Samaritan Hospital,
as well as numerous others.
Mr. Kasle is a graduate of Miami University (Ohio) and the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University. He
is a past President of the National Alumni Association of Miami. In 2003, Miami bestowed upon Don its Dolibois Alumni
Award for Meritorious and Sustained Service.
