Michael H. Trenholm is the managing partner in our Riverside office. He specializes in representing companies with their patent, copyright and trademark matters, including patent and trademark procurement and related licensing issues. Mr. Trenholm represents a diverse group of clients within the Inland Empire in many different technical areas.
Mr. Trenholm graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Mr. Trenholm received his Juris Doctorate from The University of the Pacific (McGeorge Law School) in 1992 where he graduated with distinction and was elected to the Order of the Coif.
Mr. Trenholm is active with Inland Empire legal and technical organizations. He was formerly the President of the Inland Empire Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. Mr. Trenholm has previously served on the Board of Directors of the Riverside County Bar Association and has also been the Chairman of the Business Law Section of the Riverside County Bar Association. Mr. Trenholm is currently an adjunct professor of law at the University of LaVerne Law School where he teaches intellectual property law classes.
Mr. Trenholm joined the firm in 1992 and became a partner in 1998.
